Holiday Market at the Farm CANCELLED due to COVID-19 - Grain bin open

Our 2nd Annual Holiday market at the farm has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and the restrictions on staying within your region. Our grain bin (on farm retail store) will still be open every Saturday until Christmas from 11 am to 3 pm and we our products are also available for purchase online. Stay safe!

It’s time for some Holiday Cheer in the great outdoors!

On Saturday December 5, between 11 am and 4 pm, we’ll be hosting our second Holiday Market at Enright Cattle Company, a fun way for the whole family to get into the spirit of the season in a safe, socially distanced setting. We’ve called on our friends, the area’s best makers and food producers, to bring you a selection of charming holiday gift ideas and great food.

We’ll be offering our beautiful leather goods, soaps and other items for sale in our cute little store on the farm, which Darold repurposed from a steel grain bin. For more holiday gift ideas, you’ll want to check out the gemstone jewelry from Declan & Riggs, BPP Design’s handmade kids’ clothing and quilts, gorgeous blankets and other wool products from Amherst Island’s Topsy Farms, fantastic handknit baby hats, mittens and booties with custom trim from Baby Lids, and Bailey-Brown Pottery’s gloriously colour-washed ceramics. For enhancing seasonal decor, Twigs Gardenscape will be there with fabulous evergreen arrangements.

There will also be local food in abundance. Of course we’ll be offering our beef for sale in the store -- and this year there will also be chickens raised right on our farm by our son Corben. The folks from Burger Revolution are going to be serving hot food all day. Claudia from Toronto’s Actinolite restaurant, rated one of Canada’s best, will be there with home-baked cookies and hot apple cider. You’ll be able to drop by the Kingsmill Cider tent to pick up a container of cider for yourself, and other local food offerings will include maple syrup from Palmateer Farms and fresh garlic from Railway Creek Farm.

We’ll let you know here and on Twitter as we add more vendors in the coming days!

Because we care about your and our family’s health, we are making sure this Holiday Market will be as safe as it is fun. Everyone will need to wear a face mask. To make social distancing easy, each vendor will have their own tent and they’ll be well spaced out. We’ll be limiting the number of people allowed in the grain bin store at the same time. We’ll also be providing hand sanitizer and be set up for contact tracing.

You can find us through our municipal address, 326 Hunt Road, which is just outside Tweed, and there’s lots of parking on site. We look forward to seeing you!
