Brisket is best when cooked very slowly over a low heat. A home smoker is ideal! However it can be done in your own oven also. Rub your favourite spices such as garlic powder, seasoning salt and black pepper on the brisket. Insert meat thermometer into brisket. Place in a smoker or oven on low heat (200 F) fat side up for 5-6 hours or until the meat thermometer reads 150 F.
The top sirloin is a great cut to roast in your oven. Whip up a butter and seasoning mix and spread on top of your roast, sear in the oven for about 15 min at 450 degrees then cover and reduce the heat to 325. Cook until about 10 degrees below desired doneness. Remove from oven, let it sit still covered for about 15 minutes. Then slice, serve and enjoy! Option to add veggies around your roast to make a one pot meal!
